History
of GAB Surabaya
This
church is called “Gereja Allah Baik” (GAB), in English it is “The Church
Of the Good God”. The service in the Church of the Good God was
started in January 2001, beginning with 30 members. Now the attendance has
reached 400 members. The service is held every Sunday using the Forum
Restaurant in Jalan Margorejo
D 101 Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. This church is pastored
by Dr. Samuel Hosea & his wife. In this ministry there are 3 associate
pastors, 2 elders and 19 deacons. This Church is very concern to each
person, since Jesus love has been poured out to everybody. So the main
character of this church is a strong relationship between each member that
keeps everyone of them in such a closeness. For
guidance and counselling, this Church has
provided a place in Jalan Rungkut
Megah Raya N/5-6 (phone
no. +62-31-8700823). This Church opens for 24 hours ministry to everyone
who need it. Developed in this Church are several ministries such as
pastoral ministry, prophetic ministry, apostolic ministry, evangelistic
ministry and teaching
Vision of GAB Surabaya
1. To teach everyone according to the Word of God that God is Good and His
Mercy endureth forever.
2. To be a church in Indonesia
that will make known to nations that Jesus is Lord who love
us so much, and become a Saviour for everyone who
will believe in Him.
